Joel's Back
I guess it started when we left for Israel, at the end of May. I have never, ever taken 6 weeks off before; and even on this trip, I was connected to the Internet frequently, and even got some work done.
But it was a different frame of mind than I have ever experienced. The loss of N'omi, my wife of 33 years, in April of 2006; my reconnecting with Dalia - my Israeli-army mate from 42 years efore - and my marriage to her; 6 weeks in Israel, connecting and reconnecting with friends and family...
Anyway, it was only a few days ago that I realized: I haven't posted anything here since the end of May. And I want to.
It was great to be away. It is wonderful to be back.
