Cool. Yet this seems like an old idea that didn't get the updates it deserved. How about using a ceramic ball with the appropriate points on the sphere having metallic implants, so that multiple controllers can adjust quickly and get rid of that horrible herky-jerky motion! That "camera shake" ruins too many You-Tube videos as it is! Using it to navigate a CAD scene isn't going to go anywhere. IMHO :-> (Am I expecting too much from an MIT'er?)
