Apple to release SDK for iPhone in February

A day after accepting the market price on unprotected downloads, Steve Jobs has indicated he will also lift some of the walls around the iPhone as well.

In a post to Apple’s Hot News page, Mr. Jobs, Apple’s chief executive, writes, “Let me just say it: We want native third-party applications on the iPhone, and we plan to have an SDK in developers’ hands in February.”
